  We had a spa day which included lunch. Spa was fine. Although I had my manicure in what seemed to be the corridor, a relaxing corridor, but it wasn't a secluded room all the same. The lunch service was terrible. We were a group of 6, half on a set menu lunch. There didn't seem to be any service - we had to ask for everything and had to wait a long time for the main course. The restaurant wasn't even busy. The food was standard but definitely over priced. One pudding came out burnt. We mentioned about the bad service at the end of the meal, and were told not the pay any service, which we weren't going to anyway. But there was no offer to try and compensate us for the poor service and burnt pudding. I wouldn't return here.

  Took my Mrs here for her birthday on an overnight stay, dinner and breakfast. Staff were really helpful with arranging a surprise for the Mrs by putting roses, chocolate covered strawberries and champagne in the room ready for our arrival... room facilities are great, very comfortable bed! Restaurant could do with a wider variety of food - especially the vegetarian dishes... apart from that an overall great visit to du vin... would definitely visit again!

  Had a really nice afternoon tea here, with fun features like candy floss. The staff were excellent, and the food was nice. With a few tweaks the food would have been amazing

  Went first Sunday lunch. Excellent 4 course meal and the market selection of cured meats fish and salad was first class. Well worth a visit for Sunday lunch. Only issue I had is with the service charge they automatically put on the bill. We were happy to leave a tip for the waiting staff which we did. Not to have it forced on you by the hotel to help them pay their staff.
